This is a great observation of how the current Lao government have been running the country. The government is not independent for many reasons. One is that they do not want to be independent. They are happy to serve the will of their big Vietnam brother because that how they can stay in power. Another reason is that they are ignorant. They do not know what they are doing because they have short vision. I know that Lao Nai people are waiting for Lao Nork to do somethings. I like to let all Lao Nai know that we have tried all the times to promote changes in Laos because we want to see all Lao people living a good life, not because we want to come back and take over your job. We live a good life here in foreign countries. I encourage you to recruit more courageous educators to speak out. We support you all the times.

The Lao Communist gov't are corrupt.
ReplyDeleteThe corrupt communist Lao regime steal from all Lao people by exploiting natural resources such as timber, raw minerals (copper, silver, gold, etc), long-term 60-100 year land leases to foreigners, drug and human trafficking all to enrich themselves and their family. This corrupt regime further steal from its people by taking a cut of foreign aid, while at the same time espousing lies about eradicating poverty in Laos by 2020. Lao people have endured 36 years of hardship, we need change now. Gov't should exist to serve the people, and those that don't should be overthrown.
